This year, we are lucky to have use of Meole Brace park and ride site, on the outskirts of Shrewsbury. This massive car park has everything we need to make the Fest a success. Great access, loads of parking for bikes, as well as masses of additional parking off site for cars.
The park and ride is easily accessable off the main A5 ring road around Shrewsbury. There will be signs dotted on all approaches.
We will be able to accomodate 3-400 bikes on site and a small number of disabled badge vehicles.

The planning for this years West Mercia Bike Fest event is well underway. We have enlisted top events planning team EKHint International to put the show on for us.
Learning from last years show and seeing where we could improve things, we now have a much better site ,on tarmac, with ample free parking. Having a bigger site means we can exhibit more varied attractions including a motorcycle display team, climbing wall and assault course, off road displays and alot more.

The Nuclear Weasels – 5 lads from Bishops Castle with a line up that will take you from laid back reggae and ska, to ‘dancy’ indie and rock! They have been gigging in England and Wales for 3 years now, in pubs, clubs and festivals! And they are constantly trying to come up with catchy and unique songs to entertain their audiences!
They have recently recorded a 3 track demo with Fight The Bear, which has been played by Josh & Rob on BBC Shropshire Introducing!

The band have released various E.P’s in the 9 years they have been together, such as the 2009 release of “It’s All About The Johnson” and the very first ever E.P in 2003 “Now Entering Kent”.
“It’s been a dream for such a long time to record a full length album and it’s finally happening” says Someone Else’s singer-guitarist Dan Thornhill. “It feels like this is it, this is the big one, the best songs I have ever written are all on this album”

‘GENERATIONS’ was an idea between Mark and Paul around August 2011. Mark was singing in the covers band CRYSIS at the time but wanted to form a covers band doing more heavier tunes. Paul started to build the line up and got Josh and Oli on board, songs were picked and they all set about to start learning them.
The first rehearsal was in November 2011 and from then on it was pretty obvious this project was cooking!!
Chris joined by the next rehearsal and was an instant hit!
The band deliver classic slices of metal with extreme power and precision with a live performance you will not forget!
Watch out for us in 2012 at a venue near you!!!!!
Classic metal tunes delivered with power and precision and a great live experience!!!
Check us out and see for yourself!
